How secure is this?
Extremely. We use Web Crypto API for client-side encryption (AES-256-GCM). The decryption key is part of the URL hash (after #), which is never sent to the server. We only store the encrypted blob.
Can I recover a secret after viewing?
No. Once a secret is viewed, it is immediately deleted from our database. This ensures it can only be accessed once — burn after reading.
What is Secure Drop?
Secure Drop lets you create a personal link (like envshare.app/drop/your-name) where clients can upload secrets TO you. They don't need an account — just paste their content and submit. You get email notifications and a real-time inbox with stats, search, and unread tracking.
What is Email Gating?
With Email Gating (PRO), you can restrict a secret to a specific email address. The recipient must verify with a one-time code (OTP) before viewing. Perfect for ensuring only the intended person can access it.
What is Country Lock / Geofencing?
Country Lock (PRO) restricts access to secrets based on the viewer's IP location. You can allow only specific countries (e.g., US, UK, India) and block all others automatically.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. Free users can share text only. Pro users can attach files up to 10MB. Team users can upload up to 50MB.
